At J and A Stoves we have a wealth of Fireplace Design Ideas and years of experience to help you through the entire process from selecting your
fireplace
designs, whether your preference is for traditional Stone Fireplace Designs or more Contemporary
Fireplaces, to installation.
We can remove your existing fireplace and replace it with a more up-to-date and efficient assembly or build a completely new one. We can even build a fireplace and install a Stainless Steel Chimney system in a room where there was no chimney or fire place before, or provide you with a vent free fireplace!
We feel the Hearth should be the focal point of your room, framed by a beautiful Mantel, and equipped with the Wood Stove or fire of your choice.

We specialise in the use of materials that are reclaimed or natural and there are many options to choose from: natural wood of many varieties, stone, marble or granite.
Alternatively, your existing opening can be enlarged in order to accommodate
the stove or, possibly, a basket of your choosing. We'll be pleased to advise your
builder or installer on any aspect of installation. We are able to provide a
consultancy service for the repair and lining of chimneys, the layout of flue
systems and the installation of stoves or fireplaces.
Some fires, fuelled by gas and fitted with power flues or balanced flue systems have no need for a conventional chimney or flue. Some flue systems can completely replace conventional
chimneys and for some appliances it is possible to install flues in colours to match or compliment your
decor. With a wealth of practical experience, J & A Stoves and Installations can advise on all flue and chimney problems and projects. In particular, for older houses where Class I and Class II chimney liners may need to be installed.
We offer a survey service, please contact us for an estimate.
