Wood, gas, electric and multi-fuel stoves and fireplaces have been supplied and installed by J & A Stoves and Installations for over 12 years.  We supply all types of stoves and fireplaces, from all the main manufacturers and specialise in designing and building fireplaces with traditional and reclaimed materials.  We are also able to have one-off stoves manufactured to order.

We provide a wide range of stove and fireplace accessories and services such as fireplace building, flue and chimney installations, sourcing stove parts and a refurbishment service for existing stoves. We also provide a professional survey and estimating service for any work we undertake.

Stoves

We specialise in supplying, installing and servicing models by many of the best known manufacturers: Wood Warm, Dovre, Morso, Villager, Strax gas, Oil Warm, The Rutland.  Modern appliances are efficient and clean and can run on a selection of fuels including wood, gas, oil and solid fuels; there are even some electric versions.  There are many options available including flat tops or canopies and they can be installed free-standing, in an inglenook or inset into a fireplace or wall.  There are also double-sided models for through fireplaces.  Let us help you make the right choice for your requirements and conditions.  We offer:

Woodburningstoves

Woodstoves will burn woods of different types that are dry and well seasoned.  Hardwoods are best; beech oak and ash are all very good.  Fruitwoods are to be avoided as they contain too much sap.

Multi fuel Burning Stoves

These burn most types of solid fuels, including wood pellet, supplied by your local merchants.

Traditional Stoves

There are also traditional styles that can be fuelled by gas or oil. Some models can be fitted with boilers to run central heating and provide domestic hot water.

We are main agents for Wood-Warm-Stoves, who themselves have been in production for some 25 years. The range is a line of classic clean burn multi-fuel fires including oil burn and incorporating sizes from 4 kw to 20 kw output with a choice of flat top, low and high canopies. A selection of boilers for domestic hot water through to 7,000 btu's is also available.
